With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 But teach (thy Message) for teaching benefits the Believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 So surely those who are unjust shall have a portion like the portion of their companions, therefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 Woe, then, to the Unbelievers, on account of that Day of theirs which they have been promised! 60
