The Mountain (Al-Toor)
49 verses, revealed in Mecca after Prostration (Al-Sajdah) before Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the mount 1 By the book inscribed. 2 on parchment for distribution, 3 And by the Bait-ul-Ma'mur (the house over the heavens parable to the Ka'bah at Makkah, continuously visited by the angels); 4 and the uplifted roof 5 And by the Ocean filled with Swell;- 6 The punishment of your Lord is certain to come. 7 There is none can avert it;- 8 on the Day when the skies are convulsed, 9 and the mountains shudder and shake. 10 Woe, then, on that Day to those who give the lie (to this Message) 11 Those who sport entering into vain discourses. 12 on that Day they shall be ruthlessly thrust into the Fire of Hell. 13 This is the fire which you used to give the lie to. 14 Is this magic? or ye still see not clearly! 15 Roast therein; endure it or endure it not, thereof it is equal unto you. Ye are only being requited for that which ye have been working. 16 Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure, 17 Rejoicing at what their Lord has given them; and their Lord will preserve them from the torment of Hell. 18 Eat and drink with relish for that which ye have been working. 19 They would recline on couches set in rows, paired with fair companions (clean of thought and) bright of eye. 20 And those who believed, and whose progeny also followed them in their faith, will be united with their offspring. We will not deprive them of their labour in the least. Every man is bound to what he does. 21 We shall provide them in abundance with all kinds of fruit and meat, whatever they may desire. 22 There they pass from hand to hand a cup wherein is neither vanity nor cause of sin. 23 ۞ And there will go round on them youths appointed to attend them as though they were pearls hidden. 24 They will turn to one another and ask (regarding the past events). 25 Saying: "We were also once full of fear at home. 26 Wherefore Allah hath obliged us, and hath protected us from the torment of the Scorch. 27 "Verily, We used to invoke Him (Alone and none else) before. Verily, He is Al-Barr (the Most Subtle, Kind, Courteous, and Generous), the Most Merciful." 28

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
تدرب على حفظ القرآن بمستويات مختلفة للمبتدئين والمحترفين. تخفي صفحات التمارين بعض الكلمات بحسب المستوى، ويتم ذلك بألوان جميلة أيضًا.
Practice memorizing the Quran (Hifz) with different levels from beginner to expert. Exercise pages hide some words depending on the level, also done in beautiful colors.
