Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 Or do they say: "(Muhammad SAW is) a poet! We await for him some calamity by time! 30 Say thou: wait verily I am, with you, among the waiters. 31 Is it their minds that bid them [to take] this [attitude] - or are they [simply] people filled with overweening arrogance? 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 Let them produce a phrase like it, if what they say is true! 34 Or, were they created out of nothing? Or, were they their own creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and earth? Nay, but they have not sure faith. 36 [How could they?] Are thy Sustainer's treasures with them? Or are they in charge [of destiny]? 37 Have they a stairway whereby they overhear? Then let their listener bring an authority manifest. 38 Does God have daughters while you have sons? 39 Or do you (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) ask any fee from them, so they are burdened with the penalty? 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! 43 And if they were to see a piece of the heaven falling down, they would say: "Clouds gathered in heaps!" 44 Then leave them, till they encounter their day wherein they shall be thunderstruck, 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 And wait thou patiently the judgment of thy Lord; verily thou art before Our eyes; and hallow the praise of thy Lord when thou uprisest. 48 Extol His glory at night, and at the setting of the stars. 49
