Remind them, therefore, that by the grace of your Lord you are neither a soothsayer nor possessed. 29 If they say, "He is but a poet; we are waiting for some misfortune to befall him," 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 is it their minds that prompt them [to say] this, or are they merely insolent people? 32 Do they say, "He has falsely invented it (the Quran)?" In fact, they themselves have no faith. 33 Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no firm Belief. 36 [How could they?] Are thy Sustainer's treasures with them? Or are they in charge [of destiny]? 37 Do they have a ladder (by which they can climb up to the heavens) and listen (to the angels) and come back to the rest of the people with clear authority? 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or is it that you ask of them any recompense so that they should fear to be weighed down under the burden of debt? 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Or, do they desire to outwit? The unbelievers are the outwitted. 42 Or have they a god other than Allah? Exalted is Allah far above the things they associate with Him! 43 And were they to see a portion of the sky falling, they will say, “It is a heap of clouds.” 44 so leave them alone till they face the Day on which they will be struck dumb, 45 the day when their guile shall avail them naught, and they shall not be helped. 46 And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know. 47 And be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord; surely thou art before Our eyes. And proclaim the praise of thy Lord when thou arisest, 48 And in the night also hallow Him, and at the setting of the stars. 49
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
