Therefore remind! by thy Lord's blessing thou art not a soothsayer neither possessed. 29 Or do they say: “He is a poet for whom we await an adverse turn of fortune.” 30 say [to them], "Wait then: I too am waiting along with you!" -- 31 Is this what their senses tell them, or are they a rebellious people? 32 What! They say, “He has invented the Qur'an”? Rather they do not have faith. 33 Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful. 34 Were they created of nothing, or were they themselves the creators? 35 Or is it they who created the heavens and the earth? No; the truth is that they lack sure faith. 36 Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)? 37 Or have they a stairway (to heaven), by means of which they listen (to the talks of the angels)? Then let their listener produce some manifest proof. 38 Or does Allah have daughters whereas you have sons? 39 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 40 Or that the Ghaib (unseen) is with them, and they write it down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or do they have a God besides Allah? Purity is to Allah from their ascribing of partners to Him. 43 Even if they saw lumps falling from the sky they would say: 'A massed cloud' 44 So leave them alone till they meet their Day, in which they will sink into a fainting (with horror). 45 the day when their guile shall avail them naught, and they shall not be helped. 46 And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know. 47 And wait thou patiently the judgment of thy Lord; verily thou art before Our eyes; and hallow the praise of thy Lord when thou uprisest. 48 and proclaim the praise of thy Lord in the night, and at the declining of the stars. 49
