Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Has he the knowledge of the unseen so that he can see? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 and that He it is Who causes death and grants life, 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
