Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 and will be fully recompensed for his deeds. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 that He it is Who destroyed the ancient 'Ad, 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 He plunged the villages 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 None, except Allah, can avert it. 58 Do you marvel then at this discourse (the Koran)? 59 And will you laugh and not weep? 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
