Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and of Abraham, who lived up to the trust? 37 that no soul shall bear the burden of another; 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 And that his deeds will be seen, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 and that He is the Lord of (the star) Sirius, 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And you laugh, and do not weep! 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
