Seest thou one who turns back, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Hath he knowledge of the Unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 And that He creates the two mates - the male and female - 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 The Imminent is near at hand; 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
