Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or has he not been informed of what was in the scriptures of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 and that it is He who makes to laugh, and that makes to weep, 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this recital (the Quran)? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
