Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So that (ruins unknown) have covered them up. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 So prostrate to Allah and worship [Him]. ۩ 62
