Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And gave little, and then stopped? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that [therefore] it is within His power to bring about a second life; 47 And that it is He Who enricheth and preserveth property. 48 And that He is the Lord of the Sirius; 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace [of them,] 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 There hath approached the approaching Hour. 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 while you make merry? 61 Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him. ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
