Seest thou one who turns back, 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the two spouses, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not; 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 apart from God none can disclose it. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
