HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Did not the news reach him, of that which is mentioned in the Books of Moosa? 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 that it is He who gives wealth and possessions; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And He brought perdition upon the subverted cities 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So bow yourselves before God, and serve Him! ۩ 62
