Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 who gave a little, and then stopped? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Has he not been made acquainted with what was written in the scriptures of Moses? 36 And [of] Abraham, who fulfilled [his obligations] - 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 That to thy Lord is the final Goal; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 of a sperm-drop, when it was cast forth, 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 and before them the people of Noah who were even more unjust and insolent; 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
