Prostration

Seest thou one who turns back, 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Has he knowledge of the Unknown that he perceives everything? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 nor can man achieve anything without hard labor. 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 from an ejaculated drop (of sperm), 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 that He is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 so that there came upon them that which came. 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So fall you down in prostration to Allah, and worship Him (Alone). ۩ 62
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
