Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Has he knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 And of Ibrahim, who was most obedient? 37 That no bearer of burden shall bear the burden of another- 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 whereupon he shall be requited for it with the fullest requital; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 Thamud, 51 and before them the nation of Noah, they exceeded in evil and were insolent. 52 He plunged the villages 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 while you make merry? 61 Therefore prostrate for Allah, and worship Him.
