And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Surely those who shun disobedience will dwell amidst Gardens and running streams 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
