The warnings came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged through the Fire on their faces, (they will hear:) "Taste ye the touch of Hell!" 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And (oft) in the past, have We destroyed gangs like unto you: then is there any that will receive admonition? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 As to the Righteous, they will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers, 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
