The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Nay; the Hour of Doom is their appointed time, and the Hour shall be more calamitous and bitter. 46 Indeed the criminals are astray and insane. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 and Our ordaining [a thing and its coming into being] is but one [act,] like the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 and everything, great and small, is inscribed. 53 Indeed, the cautious shall live amid gardens and a river, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
God the Almighty always says the truth.
