The warnings also came to Pharaoh's people, 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment shall be but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 And everything, small and great, hath been written down. 53 The God-conscious will find themselves in gardens and rivers, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
