▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: 'We are a gathering that will be victorious' 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We destroyed many people like you (disbelievers) but is there anyone who would take heed (of Our warning)? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 In a seat of honor near a Sovereign, Perfect in Ability. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
