▼ 54 The Moon
Al-Qamar 3 of 3
To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say, 'We are a congregation that shall be succoured?' 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Surely the sinners are misguided and insane. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 Whatever they have done has been recorded in the Books (records of the deeds). 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Surely those who fear God and follow the straight path will be amidst gardens and light, 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
