The Pharaoh and his people had also received Our warning, 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 Are you disbelievers mightier than those of the nations which We destroyed before or have you received amnesty through the ancient Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have indeed created all things by a proper measure. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And everything they have done is in the writings. 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
God the Almighty always says the truth.
