And certainly the warning came to Firon's people. 41 The (people) rejected all Our Signs; but We seized them with such Penalty (as comes) from One Exalted in Power, able to carry out His Will. 42 What then, are your unbelievers better than those? Or do you have an immunity (written) in the Scrolls? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Surely the Hour will be the moment of their promise, and that moment will be calamitous and distressing. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 on the Day when they are dragged into the fire on their faces, it will be said to them, "Now feel the touch of Hell!" 48 Indeed, We have created all things according to a measure. 49 It takes only a single command from Us (to bring the Day of Judgment) and that can be achieved within the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
