Al-Qamar 3 of 3
To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 but they gave the lie to Our Signs, to all of them. Thereupon We seized them with the seizing of the Most Mighty, the Most Powerful. 42 Are your people who deny the truth better than those? Or have you been given immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The hosts shall soon be routed and they shall be put to flight. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 Verily, the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.) are in error (in this world) and will burn (in the Hell-fire in the Hereafter). 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 everything, be it great or small, is recorded. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 Firmly established in the favour of a Mighty King. 55

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
