To the People of Pharaoh, too, aforetime, came Warners (from Allah). 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 Certainly the host shall be routed, and turn their backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their appointed time (for their full recompense), and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter. 46 Truly those in sin are the ones straying in mind, and mad. 47 On the Day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire, (it will be said to them): 'Taste the touch of the Scorching' 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We have already destroyed your kinds, so is there any who will remember? 51 And each and everything they have done is noted in (their) Records (of deeds). 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
