And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh 41 but they rejected all Our miracles. So We seized them in the way that a Majestic and All-powerful One would. 42 Are your unbelievers (of Makkah) any better than they? Or have you been granted any immunity in the Scriptures? 43 Or say they: We are a host victorious? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 Nay, the hour is their promised time, and the hour shall be most grievous and bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 On the day when they are dragged upon their faces in the fire – “Taste the heat of hell.” 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 Our commandment is but one word, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you; is there any that will remember? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And everything small and great is written down. 53 Lo! the righteous will dwell among gardens and rivers, 54 At the still centre in the proximity of the King all-powerful. 55
