The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 Hath made known the Qur'an. 2 He created man. 3 And taught him to express clearly. 4 [At His behest] the sun and the moon run their appointed courses; 5 and the stars and the trees bow themselves; 6 And the heaven! He hath elevated it, and He hath set the balance. 7 That you may not be inordinate in respect of the measure. 8 weigh, therefore, [your deeds] with equity, and cut not the measure short! 9 And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates); 11 Also corn, with (its) leaves and stalk for fodder, and sweet-smelling plants. 12 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man of a clay like the potter's, 14 whereas the invisible beings He has created out of a confusing flame of fire. 15 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie 16 Lord of the East and Lord of the West. 17 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 18 He has let loosed the two seas (the salt water and the sweet) meeting together. 19 between them a barrier they do not overpass. 20 Which of the wonders of your Lord will you twain you men and jinn then deny? 21 There come forth from the twain the pearl and the coral. 22 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 23 And His are the lofty ships that sail like [floating] mountains through the seas. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
