The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Allah, the Most Gracious 1 It is He Who has taught the Qur'an. 2 has created man, 3 He taught distinctness. 4 The sun and the moon are in a reckoning. 5 The stars and the trees prostrate. 6 And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance. 7 that you may not transgress in the balance, 8 Therefore, maintain just measure and do not transgress against the Balance. 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates] 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 13 He created the human being from clay like that used for pottery 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 16 Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests! 17 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 18 He let forth the two seas that meet together, 19 With an interstice between them which they cannot cross. 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 Pearls and coral-stone come forth from them. 22 Which of the wonders of your Lord's power will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 23 And His are the ships going and coming in the seas, like mountains. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
