The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Most Beneficent (Allah)! 1 Bestowed the Qur'an, 2 He hath created man. 3 Taught him the mode of expression. 4 The sun and the moon to a reckoning, 5 And the stars and trees prostrate. 6 and heaven -- He raised it up, and set the Balance. 7 so that you would maintain justice. 8 weigh, therefore, [your deeds] with equity, and cut not the measure short! 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 Therein is fruit and date-palms, producing spathes (enclosing dates); 11 and grain in the blade, and fragrant herbs. 12 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 13 He created man from sounding clay like unto pottery, 14 whereas the invisible beings He has created out of a confusing flame of fire. 15 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 18 He has made the two seas to flow freely (so that) they meet together: 19 and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass. 20 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 21 Pearls and corals come forth from both of them. 22 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 23 And His are the ships reared aloft in the sea like mountains. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
