The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
78 verses, revealed in Medina after Thunder (Al-Ra'ad) before The Human (Al-Insan)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (Allah) Most Gracious! 1 has imparted this Qur'an [unto man]. 2 He created man 3 He taught distinctness. 4 The sun and moon revolve to a computation; 5 and the stars and the trees bow themselves; 6 And Allah has raised the sky; and He has set the balance. 7 Do not transgress the scales. 8 And observe correct measure, weigh with justice, and not cheat the balance. 9 He set down the earth for the creation. 10 Therein are fruit and palm-trees with their dates in sheaths, 11 and grains with their husk and fragrant plants. 12 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 13 He has created man, from dry ringing clay, like the potter"s, 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 16 Lord of the two easts and of the two wests is He. 17 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 18 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. 19 and between them is a barrier which they do not overpass. 20 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 21 There cometh forth from both of them the pearl and coral-stone. 22 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 23 His are the ships with elevated sails upon the sea like mountains. 24 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
