Everyone on it must pass away. 26 only the Person of your Lord, full of majesty and splendour, will endure. 27 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 28 Whosoever is in the heaven and earth ask Him. Every day He is upon an affair (He reveals according to His Eternal determination). 29 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 34 A flash of fire will be let loose upon you, and smoke, and you will be left without succour! 35 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 36 (What will happen) when the heaven will be split asunder and will become crimson like leather? 37 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 38 So on that day neither man nor jinni shall be asked about his sin. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 The sinners will be recognised by their marks, and seized by the forelock and their feet. 41 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 42 This is the Hell which the Sinners deny: 43 They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water! 44 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 45
