▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone on it must pass away. 26 And there will endure for ever the person of your Lord, the Lord of glory and honor. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 All in the heavens and the earth entreat Him for their needs; a new, mighty task engages Him each day. 29 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 32 O society of jinns and men, cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability, then pass beyond them; but you cannot unless you acquire the law. 33 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 34 There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 36 (What will happen) when the heaven will be split asunder and will become crimson like leather? 37 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 38 On that day there will be no need to ask mankind or jinn about his sin 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 (For) the sinners will be known by their marks: and they will be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 42 This is Gehenna, that sinners cried lies to; 43 They will go round and around between it and boiling water. 44 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 45
