Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone that is thereon will pass away; 26 But abiding is the glory of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficence. 27 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 28 Whosoever is in the heaven and earth ask Him. Every day He is upon an affair (He reveals according to His Eternal determination). 29 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 36 When the heaven splits asunder and turns crimson, like red leather. 37 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 38 For, on that Day, neither man nor jinn will be questioned about his sins. 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 42 This is the hell which the guilty called a lie. 43 They shall keep going back and forth between it and the extremely hot boiling water. 44 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 45

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
