Everyone on earth is destined to die. 26 Yet the Face of your Lord will abide forever, Majestic and Splendid. 27 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 28 On Him depends all creatures in the heavens and on earth; [and] every day He manifests Himself in yet another [wondrous] way. 29 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 32 O society of jinns and men, cross the bounds of the heavens and the earth if you have the ability, then pass beyond them; but you cannot unless you acquire the law. 33 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 34 On you will be sent (O ye evil ones twain!) a flame of fire (to burn) and a smoke (to choke): no defence will ye have: 35 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 36 And when the sky is rent asunder and becomes red like [burning] oil 37 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 38 On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin. 39 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 40 The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet. 41 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 42 Yonder is the Hell which the culprits belied. 43 They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]. 44 Which of the favours of your Lord will you then deny? 45
