For everything on the earth is extinction. 26 And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor. 27 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 28 Whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth implore Him; every day He is upon some labour. 29 Which of your Lord's laudable attributes will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 30 O you twain, who are a burden (on the earth), We shall attend to you and call you to account. 31 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 32 O the groups of jinns and men, if you can cross the boundaries of the heavens and the earth, then cross them; wherever you may go, His is the kingdom! 33 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 34 There will be sent against you both, smokeless flames of fire and (molten) brass, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 36 When the heaven splits asunder and turns crimson, like red leather. 37 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 38 On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin. 39 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 40 The guilty ones will be recognized by their faces and will be seized by their forelocks and feet. 41 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 42 This is Hell the sinners called a lie. 43 they shall go round between it and between hot, boiling water. 44 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 45
