▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone that is thereon will pass away; 26 But will abide (for ever) the Face of thy Lord,- full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 27 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 28 All that are in the heavens and the earth entreat Him. Every day He exerciseth (universal) power. 29 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 30 [ONE DAY] We shall take you to task, O you sin-laden two! 31 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 32 O assembly of jinns and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass (them)! But you will never be able to pass them, except with authority (from Allah)! 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 36 (On the Day of Judgment) when the heavens are rent asunder they will have a flowery color and flow like oil. 37 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 38 So on that day neither man nor jinni shall be asked about his sin. 39 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 40 The sinners shall be known by their mark, and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feet. 41 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 42 (It will be said): “This is the Hell that the culprits had cried lies to. 43 they shall go round between it and between hot, boiling water. 44 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 45
