▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 61 And besides these two other gardens -- 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 67 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. 68 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 69 In them shall be good and pleasing. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
