Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 Having numerous branches. 48 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 49 In the two Gardens flow two springs. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 There will be bashful maidens untouched by mankind or jinn before. 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 green, green pastures -- 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth water. 66 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 There shall be maidens sheltered in tents. 72 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 73 Man has not touched them before them nor jinni. 74 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed is the Name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Grace. 78
True are the words of God the Almighty.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
