BUT FOR THOSE who of their Sustainer's Presence stand in fear, two gardens [of paradise are readied] 46 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 49 In which, will be two fountains running. 50 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 51 In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs. 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 (The dwellers of Paradise) will recline on couches lined with silk brocade and it will be easy to reach the ripe fruits from the two gardens. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 In them maidens with averted glances, undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 56 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 What is the reward of virtue except virtue (in return)? 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Dark green (in colour). 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 Therein (gardens) will be fair (wives) good and beautiful; 70 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 [companions] whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich carpets excellent. 76 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficience. 78
