Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who lived in awe of the sublimity of his Lord, there will be two gardens -- 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 full of various trees. 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 51 In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds. 52 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 61 And beside the two there will be two other Gardens. 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 two [gardens] of the deepest green. 64 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 65 Therein are two gushing fountains of water. 66 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 67 therein fruits, and palm-trees, and pomegranates -- 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 71 Houris (beautiful, fair females) restrained in pavilions; 72 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 73 Man has not touched them before them nor jinni. 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 reclining upon green cushions and lovely druggets -- 76 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord (Allah), the Owner of Majesty and Honour. 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
