▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 51 In them will be Fruits of every kind, two and two. 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 [In such a paradise the blest will dwell,] reclining upon carpets lined with rich brocade; and the fruit of both these gardens will be within easy reach. 54 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 As if they were rubies and coral. 58 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 59 Shall the recompense of goodness be other than goodness? 60 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 61 And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens - 62 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 65 In the Gardens are two springs, overflowing with abundance. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In both are fruits and palms and pomegranates. 68 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 71 Maidens (of Paradise, Houris) in cloistered cool pavilions. 72 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blest be the name of thine Lord, Owner Of Majesty and Beneficence! 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
