▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - 46 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 47 abounding in branches -- 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In the two Gardens flow two springs. 50 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 51 In [each of] these two will two kinds of every fruit be [found]. 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 Reclining on beds, the inner coverings of which are of silk brocade; and the fruits of the two gardens shall be within reach. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni - 56 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 57 As though they were rubies and pearls. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides them, there are two more Gardens. 62 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 63 Of darkest verdant green -- 64 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 65 In them will be two gushing springs. 66 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 67 In them (both) will be fruits, and date- palms and pomegranates. 68 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 69 In them will be fair (Companions), good, beautiful;- 70 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 71 houris, cloistered in cool pavilions -- 72 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 [They will live in such a paradise] reclining upon green cushions and the finest carpets. 76 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
