The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 There is no belying its coming to pass-- 2 Abasing exalting. 3 When the earth is shaken with a shock 4 and the mountains are shattered into [countless] shards, 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 And there shall be such as will have lost themselves in evil: oh, how [unhappy] will be they who have lost themselves in evil! 9 But the foremost shall be [they who in life were] the foremost [in faith and good works]: 10 They shall be near-stationed (to their Lord), 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 There wait on them immortal youths 17 with goblets, jugs and cups of crystal clear wine 18 Unheady, uninebriating; 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 Therein they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 And those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 And clustered plantains, 29 and spreading shade 30 and flowing water 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 Unending, unforbidden, 33 And raised couches; 34 Surely We have made them to grow into a (new) growth, 35 And made them virginal, 36 Lovers, friends, 37 For those on the right hand; 38

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
