The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Event inevitable cometh to pass, 1 there is no denying its coming 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you will become divided into three categories. 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And the preceders are the preceders. 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In gardens of delight; 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 And a few from among the latter. 14 (They will be) on thrones woven with gold and precious stones, 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 Immortal youths will serve them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 They shall not be affected with headache thereby, nor shall they get exhausted, 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and with the flesh of any fowl that they may desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 Like unto hidden pearls, 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 only the saying 'Peace, Peace!' 26 And those on the right hand; what of those on the right hand? 27 mid thornless lote-trees 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 And extended shade, 30 Gushing water, 31 and an abundance of fruits, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 and made them virgins, 36 Loving, equals in age, 37 for those on the Right, 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
