The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Event (the resurrection) comes 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 Abasing (one party), exalting (the other), 3 This will happen when the earth is shaken, shaken 4 And the mountains will be powdered to dust. 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 And the forerunners, the forerunners - 10 These will be those nearest to Allah. 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 A multitude of those (foremost) will be from the first generations (who embraced Islam). 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 On couches in wrought with gold. 15 reclining upon them, set face to face, 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains: 18 which will not cause them any intoxication or illness. 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 like hidden pearls, 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 All talk will be sound and upright. 26 And those on the right how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 They shall recline on high amidst lote trees without thorns 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 and spreading shade 30 and gushing water, 31 and fruits abounding 32 unfailing, unforbidden, 33 and upraised couches. 34 Verily We! We have created those maidens by a creation. 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 Loving companions matched in age, 37 for the people of the right hand 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
