The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Terror descends 1 There is, at its occurrence, no denial. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth will tremble, shivering. 4 The mountains bruised and crushed, 5 becoming scattered dust, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Those on the right hand; how happy shall those on the right hand be! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter). 10 Those are the ones brought near [to Allah] 11 in the Gardens of Delight 12 A throng of the ancients, 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 they will be waited on by ageless youths 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 Their heads shall not ache with it, nor shall they lose their senses. 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And pure, beautiful ones, 22 like pearls preserved in their shells, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 No empty talk will they hear there, nor any call to sin, 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 As for the people of the right hand, how happy they will be! 27 (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns, 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and outpoured waters, 31 and fruit abounding, 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And raised couches; 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), - 36 Loving (their husbands only), equal in age. 37 for the Companions of the Right 38

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
