The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 there is no denying its coming 2 (a calamitous Event) that shall turn things upside down: 3 When the earth will be shaken with a terrible shake. 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 becoming scattered dust, 6 [on that Day] you shall be divided into three groups. 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left? 9 The foremost ones (in faith and virtue) - the foremost ones in receiving their reward. 10 These are they who are drawn nigh (to Allah), 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 A large group from the earlier generations. 13 And a few of the later peoples, 14 On thrones woven [with ornament], 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 carrying goblets and ewers and cups filled with the purest wine, 18 No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication: 19 along with fruits of their choice; 20 and the flesh of birds, as they desire. 21 And companions with big beautiful eyes 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 Only the saying, "Peace! Peace". 26 The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand? 27 They shall be in the midst of thornless lote trees, 28 Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,- 29 And in everlasting shade. 30 near to flowing water 31 and abundant fruit, 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And carpets raised. 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 So made them as maidens. 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
