The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the inevitable event comes, 1 There is no denying that it will befall - 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 And ye are classes three. 7 Companions of the Right, what are the Companions of the Right? 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 in the Gardens of Bliss. 12 A multitude of those of old 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 Wherefrom they will get neither any aching of the head, nor any intoxication. 19 And fruit of what they select 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 As reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear any useless speech in it, or any sin. 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 And spreading shade, 30 And water gushing, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 never-ending and unrestricted, 33 They shall be on upraised couches, 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 having resurrected them as virgins, 36 chaste, loving companions of the same age 37 For those on the Right Hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
